This small group discussion program on current foreign policy issues was established by the Foreign Policy Association over 60 years ago. Participants read the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watch topic videos and meet with members of their community to discuss the most critical global issues. The 2026 Great Decisions topics and meeting dates are as follows: Wednesday, March 25 America and the World: Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy Wednesday, April 22 Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World Economy Wednesday, May 27 U.S.-China Relations Wednesday, June 24 Ruptured Alliances and the Risk of Nuclear Proliferation Wednesday, July 22 Ukraine and the Future of European Security Wednesday, August 26 Multilateral institutions in a Changing World Order Wednesday, September 23 U.S. Engagement of Africa Wednesday, October 28 The Future of Human Rights and International Law To assure meaningful discussion, participation in the 2026 Albuquerque Great Decisions program will be limited to the first 30 individuals to register. Discussions will be held each month from 2:30-4PM at the offices of Albuquerque Oasis 3301 Menaul Blvd NE, Suite 18, Albuquerque, NM. The participation fee for the program is $50 per person and includes all necessary materials. Please note, we will not be able to accept registrations for individual sessions.
