Kris Winterowd is the NE Regional Coordinator for the State of New Mexico’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). She has a master’s degree in education as well as extensive training from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). SHIP is part of the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department, and offers free, unbiased, expert information and assistance.
