Description

Does a fear of falling prevent you from doing the activities that you love? If so, you are not alone. This nine-week, evidence-based program utilizes lively group discussion, problem-solving strategies, videos, and 25 minutes per session (in classes #4 through 9) of gentle physical activity to help you manage concerns about falls, change your environment to reduce risk of falls, and increase your activity, all with the support of your peers. Limited enrollment.

This class is offered at no cost with support from a Healthy Kids, Healthy Families grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico.
