Join Albuquerque Museum director, Andrew Connors, for a guided tour of the Indigenous Art, Culture, and Community exhibit currently on view. The tour highlights selections from the Ruth and Sidney Schultz collection, a gift to the Albuquerque Museum. The Schultz’s were longtime Oasis members and supporters of Santa Fe’s Indian Market. This exhibit features 50 works by over 35 artists including Jamie Okuma, Sandra Okuma, Charlene Holy Bear, Lonnie Vigil, Ben Harjo Jr., Chris Pappan, Teri Greeves, Marcus Amerman, Les Namingha, and many more. Indigenous Art, Culture, and Community explores how artists are continually evolving their own artistic style while utilizing traditional materials and techniques. Limited enrollment. 

Andrew Connors, director of the Albuquerque Museum, studied at Yale University and George Washington University and has collaborated with the National Gallery of Art, University of Notre Dame, UCLA, Getty Center, and the Royal Government of Bhutan.
