This moderated panel discussion will cover topics such as women as leaders in the political system, programs to encourage young women to participate in civic activities, the role of women’s organizations, and legislation and programs that promote equal pay and fair treatment of women in the workplace. Additionally, the panelists will speak of their own interests and talk about their country. An opportunity for Q & A will follow the panel discussion. Additionally, the panelists will share about themselves and their respective countries as well as what they hope to learn during their visit.

Join other Oasis participants on an easy 8 mile round trip ride from Vista del Norte park to the Balloon Museum. The course is almost completely flat and is on either sidewalk or bike paths out of the way of cars and traffic. Upon arriving at the Balloon park we will tour the museum. Please... read moreEarly November in Albuquerque is a great time to take a bike ride. Join other Oasis participants on an easy 8 mile round trip ride from Vista del Norte park to the Balloon Museum. The course is almost completely flat and is on either sidewalk or bike paths out of the way of cars and traffic. Upon arriving at the Balloon park we will tour the museum. Please park at the east end of Vista del Norte park. Riders will stay together for the entire ride. You must wear a helmet. Please dress for the day's weather. Bring water. Vista del Norte park is located at Osuna and Vista del Norte Dr. (1005 Osuna Rd. NE)
