Description
This film conveys the amazing achievements of the Chaco civilization as it reveals the astounding reach of the Chacoans across a region of the American southwest nearly twice the size of Ireland. Without modern tools, wheel, or beast of burden, these ancient people built ceremonial Great Houses and connected them to places of spiritual power through massive roads. Chaco is in northern New Mexico.
Bullfrog Communities uses film and discussion as a simple way for concerned citizens to stay informed about pressing issues: water, economic justice, food, energy & climate change, immigration, and environment. Scott Sharp will lead a discussion after each film.
This is part of the Friday at the Movies series.
