The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD) is charged with maintaining the health of the Rio Grande, rehabilitating the intricate systems of ditches, canals, and levees that prevent the river from overflowing. Jason Casuga is the Chief Engineer and CEO for MRGCD. As a professional engineer, Jason has spent the last 12 years working within the Middle Rio Grande Valley. He has an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from NMSU. Lorna Wiggins is with the law firm, Wiggins, Williams & Wiggins, PC. Wiggins started practicing law in New Mexico in 1983 after completing a judicial clerkship. She specializes in labor and employment law, and is chair of the Oasis Albuquerque Board of Directors.
