Formed by four local vocalists in 2023, The FiXX came together because each of them missed being in a quartet and wanted to sing. Essentially, they needed their ‘fix’ of a cappella harmony again! The group represents Sing United International, previously known as Sweet Adelines International, a women’s barbershop singing organization found around the world. They love sharing the four-part harmony that makes barbershop a distinct form of a capella singing.
Members of The FiXX include: Amy Poland (tenor), a well-known musical theater vocalist who recently played Anna in The King & I; Traci Church (lead), a retired RN who worked 20+ years in OB, management, & orthopedics; Judy Moore (baritone), a retired mathematician from Sandia Labs who coaches for MATH COUNTS; and Andi Rostel (bass), a retired ICU RN still working part time for Presbyterian Home Health & Hospice.
