Description
Back by popular demand. The largest concentration of cranes near Albuquerque is in an unkempt section of the Bosque south of the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Join David Ryan as he takes us through this relatively unknown area. We hope to see hundreds of cranes, Canada geese, and hopefully porcupines. We pass the “Glass Garden” where you might find pieces of glass from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s. This is a moderate hike, approximately 2 1/2 miles long, over rough, uneven terrain. No restrooms available. Limited enrollment.
