Description

Substantial opposition to important scientific theories dates back to the 16th century, based on alleged transgressions of biblical claims. In the 19th century, opposition to climate change in Earth’s past came primarily from scientists. In the last few decades however, attacks on science, especially human impacts on climate change, have expanded to include opposition from corporations and politicians. The addition of formal censorship makes these attacks on science more dangerous than ever.
