Shoulder pain is common in people over 40, but there are evidence-based methods to prevent injury and to treat pain from common shoulder problems. Join UNM’s Trish Siegel and two UNM occupational therapy graduate students to learn about shoulder anatomy, how to protect your shoulders from injury, and ways to address common causes of shoulder pain.

Patricia (Trish) Siegel, licensed doctor of occupational therapy and certified hand therapist, is an assistant professor at UNM’s Occupational Therapy program. She has extensive experience in hand and upper extremity therapy.  She teaches and conducts research in the area of orthopaedics and hand therapy.
