Roland Penttila is a retired civil engineer who moved to New Mexico in 1998 to work on the NM44 highway project. While in New Mexico he met his wife Peggy and has lived in the Land of Enchantment for 28 years. His hobbies are photography and history. Penttila is also a member of the New Mexico Route 66 Alliance.
