Join Ranger Alex Arnold on a journey to explore the early architecture that makes our National Parks iconic. Examining past examples of design and the theories that surround them, we explore the legacy they have left behind in today’s park design. Alex Arnold began volunteering with the National Park Service at 13 and spent years as a seasonal Interpretive Park Ranger at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. He has BAs in history and parks and recreation management from California University of Pennsylvania. He has served as a ranger in parks throughout Pennsylvania, Kansas, Maryland, New Jersey, and New Mexico, including at the Salinas Pueblo Missions. Arnold is currently a ranger at Valles Caldera National Preserve.
