The makeup of our anatomy is weirder than you might imagine. We’re not talking about the familiar aspects of our organs like how the heart pumps blood—this is the bizarre stuff. Bruce Mann, MD, has degrees in biology and medicine. He is a board-certified internist, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a former UNM medical faculty member. Mann is also a frequently sought out presenter for his blend of lecture and humor that transforms technical concepts into easy-to-grasp information for general audiences.
