Description

Flutes found in the Americas, and more specifically in North America, have been in use for thousands of years. The “Native American flute” has helped grow the instrument’s popularity. This presentation discusses the history of these instruments and several different playing techniques used across multiple types of Native American flutes. It also features demonstrations of how these instruments are both created and played.
