Description
Join Ilene Dunn for this new, evidence-based program designed to help you manage arthritis by building strength, improving balance, and staying active. Each class consists of 60 minutes of gentle flexibility, low-impact cardio, and lower body strengthening, followed by 30 minutes of practical health education and guided discussion. Topics include arthritis pain, bone health, stress management, falls prevention, overcoming common barriers to exercise, and more. You’ll leave with a personalized plan to stay active and progress, long after the program ends. Please contact Oasis with any questions before registering. Limited enrollment.
Ilene Dunn is a certified personal trainer, specializing in senior fitness and the maintenance of strength, balance, and an active lifestyle. She loves to exercise and is a certified instructor in various programs including Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention, Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance®, On the Move®, and Fit & Strong!®. She is a Matter of Balance Master Trainer.
