Description

Create a custom decoupage necklace with a custom charm. This step-by-step class also includes instruction and supplies to make a coordinating card that’s perfect for gifting your finished piece. Use sample necklaces and cards or create your own design. Participants work with art images, jeweler’s glass, a pendant tray, necklace chain, adhesive, designer papers, embellishments, a charm, and templates to complete a beautiful final project. All materials provided; bring materials fee of $5 payable to instructor (cash or check). Limited enrollment.

Corinne Sisneros is an arts educator and former Art in the Schools volunteer in Albuquerque. She completed training workshops developed in collaboration with the University of New Mexico Art Education faculty and Albuquerque Public Schools Fine Arts staff. Sisneros developed and taught art curricula that combined guided discussion with hands-on projects. Her classes explored a range of media and cultural traditions, including drawing, modern painting, clay work, Escher-inspired tessellations, Hispanic tin work, Mayan clay figures, African masks, and architectural studies.
