Description

Paint landscapes with use of alcohol washes and accented strokes to explore a varied application approach to pastels. In the first session, Susan Roden leads a group exercise to explore the effects and handling of pastel sticks and brushes and then each person progresses onto individual pieces executed onto paper and wood panels. This accelerated technique is ideal for plein air or studio painting! All materials will be provided; bring $15 materials fee payable to instructor at first class (cash or check). Limited enrollment.
