Description
Join Lance Chilton, Oasis’ bike ride leader in residence, for a leisurely Friday morning ride. The route is almost completely flat, paved, and away from vehicular traffic. This ride offers a chance to visit the Balloon Museum at the turn-around point. All riders are expected to stay with the group. Please wear ride appropriate clothing and a bike helmet. Bring your own water to drink on the ride. Limited enrollment.
Lance Chilton is a lifelong cyclist, who developed many of the biking maps and routes you find for Albuquerque, including those on the city’s website. Now retired from a career in pediatrics, you can find Chilton on one of his daily bike rides around the city, particularly along the Bosque.
