Laurel Ladwig is a geographer and lifelong birder who has been teaching about birds and stars in informal science education settings for more than three decades. She is on the advisory board for Bernalillo County Master Naturalists, co-coordinates Albuquerque’s participation in the City Nature Challenge, and is the Partnership Coordinator for the Friends of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge’s Backyard Refuge Program. Laurel recently contributed to Now We Heal – An Anthology of Hope.
