Description
In this exciting collage workshop, spend the first day experimenting and creating a series of dramatically textured collage papers using a wide range of mixed media. On the second day, learn to interweave these papers, creating compelling textile-inspired finished works of art. Participants also come away with a great assortment of textured collage papers for future projects. All materials provided; bring materials fee of $15 payable to instructor (cash or check) to class. Limited enrollment.
Lea Anderson, a mixed media and installation artist, has lived and worked in New Mexico for two decades. Anderson has exhibited throughout New Mexico, the US, and internationally. She is a faculty member at CNM and has led dozens of workshops using a wide variety of mixed media techniques. She has recently collaborated on projects with Meow Wolf and Electric Playhouse.
