Description
Global Ties-Albuquerque, the World Affairs Council of Albuquerque, and Albuquerque Oasis, host a multi-national delegation of young leaders visiting Albuquerque on Monday August 25 at 6:00pm. This moderated panel discussion will cover topics such as women as leaders in the political system, programs to encourage young women to participate in civic activities, the role of women’s organizations, and legislation and programs that promote equal pay and fair treatment of women in the workplace. Additionally, the panelists will speak of their own interests and talk about their country. An opportunity for Q & A will follow the panel discussion. Additionally, the panelists will share about themselves and their respective countries as well as what they hope to learn during their visit.
