Description
Old ice, particularly ice cores drilled from glaciers and ice sheets, is fascinating because it serves as an archive of Earth’s past climate and atmospheric conditions. This lecture explores how ancient paleo-ice patches serve as repositories of historical and environmental information, offering unique insights into the past.
