Description

Considered shocking and scandalous in the 1700s, because partners are face-to-face and hold one another close, this romantic dance has become a beloved tradition at weddings, anniversaries, and quinceañera. Danced to 3/4 time music, Waltz has three basic styles: Ballroom Box, Continuity, and Viennese. This class focuses on the Continuity style, popular with Country Western and Ballroom dancers, where two partners dance the roles of Lead and Follow. Sign up with a partner or meet one in class. No experience required. Limited enrollment.
