Description
Frederick Buechner was a writer and a Presbyterian minister who saw the written word as his main form of ministry. In this lecture we examine the art of spiritual autobiography. Buechner wrote about his life in the following works: The Sacred Journey, Now and Then, Telling Secrets, and his last autobiography, The Eyes of the Heart.
Rev. Dr. Frank Yates is the interim pastor at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church. He teaches New Testament in the religious studies program at UNM. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and UT Austin and has graduate degrees from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
