Description

Armored juggernauts! Achtung-Panzer! Tanks played a major role in ground warfare in World War II and are still a critical part of modern warfare, especially as illustrated by the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Which tank was superior: the T-34 or the Panther? What handheld anti-tank weapons revolutionized infantry versus tank warfare? Richard Field looks at tanks from all major combatants of WWII and gives insights to understand tank warfare. Ukraine has had the ability to neutralize tanks, begging the question of tank viability in future wars.
