Justice Clarence Thomas has served on the Supreme Court for more than 32 years. His nomination was controversial, and he has remained a contentious and often polarizing jurist throughout his tenure on the Court. Andrew Schultz examines Justice Thomas’ career, his unique role in many of the Court’s high-profile recent decisions, and his potentially lasting impact in helping to shape some of the Court’s most debated holdings.

Andrew Schultz an attorney, retired after practicing law with the Rodey Law Firm for nearly 40 years.  He is the only graduate of the UNM Law School to serve as a law clerk at the US Supreme Court, serving as a clerk to Byron R. White.  Schultz has been an adjunct professor at UNM’s School of Law for more than three decades. When he retired, he was listed among the Top 25 Lawyers in New Mexico as compiled by Southwest Super Lawyers.
