Description
In Part One—Learning Meditation—learn a classical form of meditation with step-by-step facilitation. Regulate your breathing, ease body tension, focus your attention, and gradually develop inner peace. In Part Two—Living Meditation in the World—review the sitting practice and explore living meditation in action. Additionally, we examine yoga theory’s effect on the mind and how yoga ethics can build self-awareness and resilience. Classes are taught in chairs. Dress comfortably. Audio practice MP3s are emailed to each participant.
Rennie Maguire has been trained and certified to teach Superconscious Meditation by the Institute of the Himalayan Tradition in St. Paul, MN. Since 2006, she has taught hundreds of meditation workshops in Oregon, New York, and New Mexico across a variety of settings.
