Description

Singer-songwriter John Denver (1943-97) left the world far too soon, at the age of 53. One of the best-selling acoustic artists of the 1970s, he composed over 200 songs in which he shared his love for music, the joys he found in nature, and thoughtful works about relationships. A well-known actor, activist, and humanitarian, he supported
environmental issues, protested music censorship, and was named Poet Laureate of Colorado.
