Description
Experience the freedom and spontaneity of expressive color. Purple trees and yellow skies bring a sense of joy to the landscape while encouraging imaginative exploration. This two-day workshop begins with guided exercises on handling and using pastels, then moves into collaborative group landscapes emphasizing bold, contrasting color. The remainder of the workshop is devoted to individual pastel work using a playful, Fauvist-inspired palette. All materials provided; bring materials fee of $20 payable to the instructor (cash or check) at first class. Limited enrollment.
