Rodger Beimer first attended the New Mexico State Fair as part of an Explorer Scout group and was entranced. His professional life included decades as a local TV reporter covering the state fair and also as a state fair senior manager. Beimer knows what makes a good fair! Rodger Beimer was born and raised in Taos and went on to a New Mexico television and broadcasting career, both on-air and administratively at KOAT-TV, KOB-TV, KZIA and KOB Radio.
