Description

Lance Chilton, MD and Senator Martin Hickey, MD discuss the triumphs and debacles of the 2023 60-day New Mexico legislative session. How did our citizen legislature handle the huge financial windfall and plan for New Mexico’s financial future, did they pass meaningful criminal reforms, and did they decide to pay themselves? What bills did Governor Michele Lujan Grisham sign, veto, and pocket-veto? These and a host of other issues are covered as part of this class.
