Navid Mojtabai has 32 years of experience in teaching and research related to mining. He is a graduate of New Mexico Tech, earning his BS and MS in mining engineering. He earned his PhD from the University of Arizona in mining engineering, with a minor in civil engineering. He is a professor and department chair of Mineral Engineering at NMT.
