Join us for a hands-on introduction to metalsmithing at the Meltdown Studio. In this two-session workshop, learn techniques including cutting, texturing, stamping, soldering, making findings, polishing, and more. Take home several completed metal projects including a textured sterling silver ring band. No previous experience is required. All materials and tools are provided. Limited enrollment.
Margie Weinstein is a native New Mexican who has worked as a studio potter for 25 years and retired from teaching jewelry and ceramics at Albuquerque Public Schools. She is a bench mate and instructor at Meltdown where she has taught a variety of classes.
