Description

In the summer of 1968, and in the middle of a left-wing faction fight, a group of radical journalists from Liberation News Service left New York City for the country. They founded two rural New England communes—at Packer Corners in Guilford, Vermont, and in Montague, Massachusetts—becoming pioneers in the back-to-the-land and organic farming movement.

Bullfrog Communities uses film and discussion as a simple way for concerned citizens to stay informed about pressing issues: water, economic justice, food, energy, climate, immigration, and environment. Oasis Executive Director Scott Sharp leads a discussion after each film.
