The movement evolved from conservation efforts to address climate change concerns. From halting dams in the Grand Canyon and the fight against toxic waste at Love Canal, to Greenpeace’s campaigns to save the whales and Chico Mendes’ work to protect the Amazon rainforest, the film tells vivid stories about people fighting and succeeding against enormous odds.
Bullfrog Communities uses film and discussion as a simple way for concerned citizens to stay informed about pressing issues: water, economic justice, food, energy, climate, immigration, and environment. Following each film, Oasis Executive Director Scott Sharp leads a discussion.
