Description
An emphasis on colorful shapes and bold lines makes this pastel class perfect for everyone! Find inspiration in fresh floral set-ups to create abstracted imagery from washed underpaintings and overlays of shapes and markings. This two-day session ranges from discussions of movement, harmony, and symmetry through demos, a group exercise, and individual renderings. All materials provided; bring materials fee of $25 payable to the instructor (cash or check) at the first class. Limited enrollment.
Susan Roden is a juried member with the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Distinguished Pastelist/past president of the Pastel Society of New Mexico, and Secretary/board member with New Mexico Committee for the Women’s Museum of Art.
