Learn about the ecology and biology of fungi at Enchanted Farms Mushrooms. Take a walk through the production space and laboratories, as well as fruiting and processing rooms. Discover biological and mycological relationships, how and where mushrooms grow, the process for growing mushrooms, how to forage your own mushrooms, and tips for cooking them. Attendees receive ¼ lb. of fresh mushrooms with recipes to take home at the end of the tour. Limited enrollment.
Enchanted Farms Mushrooms is dedicated to the belief that mushrooms can improve overall health and well-being, while making for some delicious fare. A manifestation of a small group of community-centric citizens who share a vision for a healthier New Mexico, their goal is to localize nutritious food and educate the public about the benefits of eating mushrooms, while providing meaningful jobs and being kind to Mother Earth.
