Description
Two types of dance to the same music, but they’re decidedly different styles. East Coast Swing, thought of as a partner Ballroom dance, has a faster, syncopated step with the Leader and Follower moving in a circular pattern. It has turns, twirls, and combinations of steps for both partners. West Coast Swing features a linear, up-and-back pattern with East Coast step rhythms in different combinations, and it doesn’t usually circle. It can be combined with East Coast, going from a linear to a turning dance! Sign up with a partner or meet one in class. No experience required. Limited enrollment.
