Description
We all carry stories within us – some even jump out, wanting to be told. Creating a soft-bound book honoring a loved one, depicting a significant event, or highlighting a journey or a place, can give a story a creative home. Through step-by-step instruction and simple expressive techniques like mixed media, watercolor, journaling, photos, and images, these memories find a lasting place of honor. Leave with a finished memory book—no artistic experience required. All supplies are provided; bring materials fee of $30 payable to instructor (cash or check) at first class. Limited enrollment.
Elizabeth Graham, MDiv, has worked with people in all stages of life to find expression and meaning in life events. As a chaplain in retirement communities, hospice care, and parishes, she has developed programs for giving expression to life’s significant thresholds. With her low-key, sometimes playful approach, the stories shared are held with respect, while recognizing the power of the creative process in finding meaning and healing.
