Description
Learn how to make handmade books while exploring basic bookmaking terms and a brief history of the craft. Make three types of books: a double pamphlet book, a stick book, and a one-page booklet. All materials provided; bring a $20 materials fee payable to the instructor (cash or check). Limited enrollment.
Mary Beth Woiccak is an Albuquerque-based artist and photographer whose landscape-inspired work has been exhibited throughout New Mexico and across the country. She received her BFA in Communication Design from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Over the past 20 years, she has worked as an art consultant, gallery manager, and program director while maintaining an active studio practice inspired by nature and the Southwest landscape.
