Claire McFadyen and Bryan Beard are co-owners and operators of Natural Burial New Mexico and La Puerta Natural Burial Ground. McFadyen has bachelor’s in anthropology, ecology, and evolutionary biology and a master’s in public health emphasizing environmental health. Beard has a BS in industrial design and a passion for creating things and spaces that invoke meaning.
