¡Lasotras! performs Latin American and North American folk and political music with tight harmonies, spicy riffs, and upbeat rhythms on string, wind, and percussion instruments. Often taking favorites written by other composers, they adapt their own words or make songs bilingual. Singing along is encouraged!
¡Lasotras! aims to break down walls, build bridges, add music to the struggle, and encourage solidarity. An Albuquerque-based musical group, they have played together in different configurations for over 30 years.
