Description
Location changed to Oasis. Using recently published research at the Vatican, Christopher Zugger reviews the role of Pius XII before and during the war. Topics covered include the Nazi racial persecution of the Jews, rescue operations of the Holy See and its diplomats, challenges due to antisemitism in Allied states, and what current evidence now shows. Was Pius XII Hitler’s Pope or a living saint? Did Pius XII know about the infamous ratlines? This part of history is challenging, but fascinating.

He served as pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Rite Catholic church in Albuquerque from 1985-2008.
